Since the inception of the Northshore Writers group, we have had many success stories resulting from the support and encouragement of the group. This page will continue to grow, so come back often.

Bruce grew up in a small country town close to beaches, rivers and farmland.
With a large family and many friends, life was good but that changed when at age 16 some of the family moved to the city over 500 km away. He experienced loneliness for the first time and used writing to fill that space.
After a career in the corporate world followed by time as a self-employed furniture maker Bruce rediscovered the joy of writing. He enjoys writing mainly short fiction but also reimagining and retelling family history.
He is an avid reader and an observer of people and
uses that to help craft his stories.

A really good book. Both moving and funny. The authors have a way of drawing you into the story - often ending in an unexpected way. I'm very glad that I bought it.

A psychologist once told Ada Maria Soto that she has a fantasy- prone personality. Fortunately, Ada grew up to become an author, so a life lived deep in her imagination fits her perfectly. As a Mexican-American expat living in the South Pacific with her partner and kid, her life is chaotically divided between being a writer, a publisher, and a parent.
Ada has written some of the most beloved stories in the M/M romance genre despite her harried and haggard schedule, starting with the Empty Nests duology in 2015, which is as well known for her wonderful descriptions of cooking as for the contemporary romance between men who come from very different worlds.
